"Tree Fog"
This Plein Air of a little road in Northern Arizona in July is by Humphry's peak. Inspiration was immediate and the paint came off the brush all on it's own. I was holding the brush, but I don't feel like I painted this one. The tree's were beautiful, I could see the painting before I even started. The light shifted a little, but the overall feeling of what was captured this day was calm and inviting. A truly inspired oil painting.
The fog was far in the distance, but at the end of the road there was a blast of light hitting it, really making it simultaneously sparkle with wonder and adventure.
The original at 16x8 on canvas panel is available, as well as prints in both Metal and Canvas. See the store for more details.
